Bus cuts confusion for elderly

• TRANSPORT for London have not thought out their changes, (‘Absolutely shocking’: Transport for London announce plans to cut bus routes, June 1).

We now have no via points on buses, only ultimate destinations; details on a lot of bus stops are very sparse if they are not missing. There are no bus maps available to the passengers either.

Under the new regime both the 27 and the 88 will travel south from Camden Town both with the destination of Clapham showing, no details where they go in the meantime. For the elderly utter confusion.

A bus is said to be frequent if it will run every 12 minutes, when at the moment seven to eight minutes is the norm.
