TfL and the mayor should come clean on how ‘temporary’ this restriction is

• I COULDN’T agree more with Elaine Chambers, (Suspension of our freedom passes is an insult, October 14).

The “temporary” suspension of the Freedom Pass between 4.30am and 9am is indeed an insult. Sadiq Khan and Transport for London are determined to ignore the complaints.

They could at least keep us informed. Maybe they are unaware that many seniors are doing volunteer work and have to use public transport before 9am.

We would like to know how long the “temporary” suspension will last. If they have decided to make the “temporary” permanent, at least have the courage to say it.
