• IN his letter (Questions remain over planned road ‘improvements’, April 25), concerning the proposed cycle path on Prince of Wales Road in Kentish Town, a desperate situation is described by the writer, Nick Harding, of seeing the need to place posters next to official Camden Council posters in order to point out its failure to disclose something as critical as the removal of almost all traffic islands on the advertised scheme.

If Mr Harding is right about something as critical to the interests of local people, then why should we believe anything our council says in future? On the other hand, if Mr Harding is misinforming us, please tell us – and describe how this cycle lane can be fitted into the road otherwise.
