Filled-in holes in Queen’s Crescent

• I HAVE written to you about the 10 mysterious holes excavated in Queen’s Crescent by the council.

They have now all been filled in!

What their purpose was we cannot be told. Perhaps new ones will appear in the new financial year?

What do our six local councillors know of this or have they had to sign a confiden­tiality agreement?

As council tax payers surely we have the right to know what officers spend our money on.

Are the holes part of the much vaunted £4million-plus regeneration project started five years ago to develop the area?

We do not know how this money was spent either.
