TWO teenage girls have pleaded guilty to a spate of violent robberies on lone women in Hampstead.
The girls, aged 16 and 17, carried out robberies on four different women on the evening of March 23.
They are alleged to have attacked their victims, punching and kicking them before either taking their cash or forcing the person to withdraw money from ATMs. In three of the incidents, the victim’s phone was also stolen.
Police arrested the teens in separate houses in East Finchley and Hendon on Tuesday (April 20), and they appeared at Highbury Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
Both entered guilty pleas to the offences and have been remanded in a youth detention centre before they are sentenced next month.
