A TEAM of young football fans saw their coaching careers kick-started when they were given the chance to gain their FA Football Coaching Level One badge for free.

One Housing Group signed up 11 Camden residents who were not in any form of education, employment or training and gave them the opportunity to achieve their potential.

Having received their FA Level One certificates in football coaching, along with emergency first aid and safeguarding children certificates, the team are now able to start looking for work with schools, colleges and community centres.

Callum Doyle, who took part in the training project at South Camden Youth Access Point in King’s Cross, said: “I really enjoyed the course.  I now have a qualification that will help me get a job which I’m really passionate about. The team at One Housing Group have been very supportive and are now helping me find a job with my new skills.”
