Rubbish view from flat window

• THE other day I was asked by a couple on Mansfield Road where the rubbish bins were. They were taken away some weeks ago.

I suppose somebody thought it was a shame to spoil a nice street. But I was able to direct them to Weedington Road where we are spoilt for choice.

On our estate there are rubbish chambers on every corner. I took this photo from my first-floor council flat.

It is the only one not on a corner, but facing the flats on the street. So handy. Shame to spoil a nice street!
