• IT would be hoped that John Stratton speaks for the majority of people in regards to graffiti. His views certainly reflect mine, (Tag artists’ work not wanted, June 15).

Our city, and Camden Town in particular, is becoming destroyed, yes destroyed, by these mindless taggers and graffiti artists. They vandalise with impunity, or so it seems; are they ever caught and punished?

I sometimes think that Camden Council either have a tacit acceptance of graffiti or is faced with too great a task to tackle it. Whatever the reason, the blight of graffiti vandalism shows no sign of ending soon, a depressing thought!
