Swiss Cottage crew in solid gold supershow

A STRONG squad of Camden Swiss Cottage swimmers headed west to face some tough competition at the Ealing Short Course Open at the weekend.
Anna Podurgiel won gold in the 50m freestyle, 200m breaststroke and 50m and 200m backstroke. The 10-year-old also clinched silvers in the 50m butterfly, the 50m breaststroke and the 200m freestyle.
Team-mate Drew Dill, 10, also had a great weekend, taking gold in the 200m backstroke, silvers in the 50m backstroke and 50m freestyle and bronzes in the 200m freestyle and 100m individual medley.
Ruby Coyle, 10, powered to gold in the 50m butterfly and the 200m individual medley, silver in the 100m freestyle and a bronze medal in the 50m freestyle.
Ally Dill, 10, clinched another gold for Swiss Cottage in the 200m butterfly with Amelia Tong taking the silver.
Josef Schoen, 14, struck gold in the 50m breaststroke, silvers in the 50m butterfly and the 50m freestyle and bronzes in the 100m individual medley and 100m butterfly.
Aaron Waring, 10, performed well to take the gold in the 100m breaststroke, as well as clinching silvers in the 50m and 200m of the same stroke.
Anna Adetiba, 13, picked up a medal of every colour, taking gold in the 50m butterfly, silver in the 100m butterfly and bronze in the 100m freestyle.
There were also podium performances from Valentina Parilli, James Costello, Clarice Willis, Lauren Brantley, Josef Schoen, Megan Gass, Chloe Berko-Boateng, Rokowati Mara and Terance McAvoy.
