ARSENAL Ladies have been handed the chance to gain sweet revenge over rivals Manchester City after the two clubs were paired together in Tuesday’s Continental Cup quarter-final draw.

The Gunners were denied their fourth successive cup victory last season when Isobel Christiansen’s late header saw City snatch the silverware at Wycombe Wanderers’s Adams Park.

Pedro Martinez Losa’s side will go into the last-eight clash against City in confident mood after beating Millwall Lionesses 4-0 on Sunday in their final group game.

The result saw Arsenal progress into the knockout stages boasting a perfect record having won all five of their group matches.

The Gunners face Manchester City at Meadow Park on Sunday, September 13, in a 2pm kick off.
