• ABOUT three years ago, the Royal Parks removed much of the equipment from Primrose Hill playground.

Remaining equipment is old, boring and unsuitable for younger children.

Throughout the pandemic, at a time when they have most needed it, children have been deprived of an inviting and well-equipped place to enjoy themselves and let off steam.

This playground is a huge disappointment to my children and many others in and around the area. Families deserve better.

I and my fellow Labour candidates Matt Cooper and Ajok Athian urge the Royal Parks to prioritise the refurbishment of Primrose Hill playground ready for children to use this summer.
