Home secretary Suella Braverman

• I HAVE marched the last three Saturdays in support of the innocent Palestinians being slaughtered in the Gaza strip, over 8,000 at the time of writing, 41 per cent children.

Each march was incredibly gentle and respectful. Many of the home made placards depicted doves. Most pleaded for aid to be let in and the bombing to stop.

Not by the greatest stretch of the imagination could you call them marches of hate, as our home secretary Suella Braverman, has termed them this week. I find her words sickening, inhumane and inflammatory.
