BACON rolls and chicken curries are back on the menu at University College London as students voted to get rid of “Meat Free Monday”, a canteen rule which restricted sales to vegetarian-only options for one day a week.
The policy was meant to raise awareness around how the meat industry creates greenhouse gases but student council members said customers at campus cafés in Bloomsbury should be able to decide for themselves.
