THERE were glorious goals, defiant defending, pulsating penalty shoot-outs, cheers and even a few tears on Saturday as teams turned up at the artificial pitches at Market Road hoping to get their hands on the Camden and Islington Midweek Youth League Development Cup. 

In the end just two teams remained in the hunt for the silverware, with Alpha Football Intelligence tackling Regent’s Park Raiders in the final of the elusive Under-11s competition. 

Alpha Football Intelligence, who train at Whittington Park in Holloway, had striker Ronan Gautier to thank for leading them to cup glory.
