Stop using anti-Semitism to fight the Labour leadership
Thursday, 26th April 2018
• I SALUTE the Camden Palestine Solidarity Campaign for their courage, (Jeremy Corbyn has been subjected to a smear campaign, April 19).
It is now clearly evident that the Zionists are after Jeremy Corbyn for his courageous stand on the Palestinian issue.
There was no Jeremy Corbyn in 1290 when the Edict of Expulsion was decreed by King Edward I and Jews were banned from this country for over 400 years! So please stop using anti-Semitism to fight the Labour Party leadership.
As for Barry Hoffbrand’s letter (Why are they silent? April 19), I wish to comment on the following: “Genocidal anti-Semitism of Hamas”? Are not Hamas members Semite Palestinians? How can they be anti-Semitic?
The term “genocidal” applies in this instance to the Israelis who turned Gaza into a concentration camp. In the last month only the Israelis killed 17 children and wounded 750.
The Gaza Palestinians are fighting for their right to return to their villages occupied by Israel since 1948. Where is the logic when Israelis claim their right of return after 2000 years?
Do the Israeli immigrants have the keys to their homes? The Palestinians have. They are fighting using stones and not sophisticated US military equipment.
Mr Hoffbrand should look at the video clip of the three Israeli soldiers discussing which Palestinian to shoot; it fell on an 18 years old wearing a pink top.
They were so happy when he fell to the ground and started singing (Israeli authorities are apparently investigating the incident).
The Palestinians are fighting for independence. This is their right. Remember when the Zionists killed British forces in Palestine and blew up the King David Hotel killing 28 Britons?
Remember which future prime minister of Israel assassinated Count Folke Bernadotte. I wonder whose genocide is it Mr Hoffbrand.
