What about the dangerous cyclists and e-scooter riders who disregard the Highway Code?

• I LOVE my car, and I will continue to drive my car irrespective of the draconian and unnecessary road closures and restrictions, (Get cars off the road, March 24).

More effort should be put into controlling the dangerous behaviour of most cyclists and e-scooter riders (legal and illegal ones) who disregard the Highway Code and treat the pavement and roads as though they own them.

They don’t, the police should be out there stopping them and fining them. Why aren’t they?
