• I WOULD like to point out a small mistake in your report, (St Alo’s closes amid fears for its neighbours, July 25). The lower (formerly infant) school is on Phoenix Road, not Polygon Road.

Strangely enough, as a former parent of St Aloysius infant / junior schools, I have never ever heard anyone calling the school “St Alo”.
