St Alban’s celebrate their double victory in the Quick Sticks festival

MEET the heroes of Holborn, who guided St Alban’s Primary School to glory at the Camden Quick Sticks Hockey Festival at the Talacre Community Sports Centre in Kentish Town. 

Over 135 boys and girls from 10 primary schools took part in the sporting showcase, where they were treated to free hockey coaching sessions before taking part in two action-packed competitions. 

All of St Alban’s hard work certainly paid off as two sides from the school in Baldwin’s Gardens were all smiles after sweeping aside the opposition to win both the ‘A’ and ‘B’ team titles. 

The event was organised by Camden Sport and Physical Activity Service in partnership with staff and students from Camden’s Sports Development Education Programme.
