EUROPE beckons for Spurs youngsters as they travel to Germany on Wednesday August 29 to play Wolfsburg in the Champions League-style Next Gen competition.
The Under-19s tournament pits Tottenham against Wolfsburg, Spanish side Barcelona and Belgium's Anderlecht in a home and away group stage, followed by knockouts for the top two teams.
The 24-team tournament also features British sides Arsenal, Manchester City, Chelsea, Aston Villa, Liverpool and Celtic.
Meanwhile, Spurs Ladies face Millwall at Harlow Town in the FA Women's Premier League, Southern Division, on Sunday.
Kick off is 2pm and boss Karen Hills will hope her team can get back to winning ways after losing their league opener 4-0 to Brighton at the Withdean Stadium.
Spurs first team boss Andre Villas-Boas will be expecting his side to get off the mark on Saturday when they host West Brom – flying high in the table after one game – at the Lane.
Jermain Defoe, who got on the scoresheet in the losing opener at Newcastle, is rejoined in the Spurs striking ranks by £5.5m signing Emmanuel Adebayor.
Spurs have, however, been linked with Brazil striker Leandro Damiao, who shone for his country in the Olympics.
Quite where that will leave veteran Defoe remains to be seen, but the club is thought to be open offers for other old faces including Heurelho Gomes, David Bentley and Jermaine Jenas.
