SPURS FC: The Crow – What Has Kenny Learned From Suarez Saga?

I WANT to bring some clarity and possible change to this week’s column: so hands up how many opposition fans, apart from Liverpool ones, who wanted Spurs to lose in Monday night’s 0-0 draw at Anfield?
Those with hands up, ask yourself why? Then, whatever the reason, inhale deeply and try to let it go.
Surely there are more important things in the world to get angry about.
If your reasoning is strategic I can understand that.
But I know people who won’t wear red because it represents opposition teams’ colours: people who avoid a tube station or street because it has a rival’s name on it.
Some rivalries are fanatically religious; seemingly those rifts will take generations to heal.
Today, though, I’m talking to those whose team defines them as human beings: people who will fight and argue because of an outdated honour.
I’m talking to the idiots who wanted to confront me because I support a different team.
Do you really think that the players in your team hate as much as you do?
They drink together; represent the same countries together; room together on internationals, they even share the same agents. So, for those of you whose equilibriums are offset by the way your team plays, get a life.
It‘s only a game!
Spurs defended like Trojans on Monday against a Liverpool team baying for revenge after losing 4-0 at the Lane.
Judging by Kenny Dalglish’s comments regarding his belief that Luis Suarez did nothing wrong, what has he learnt?
