SPURS FC: The Crow – We're a work in progress – just like Arsenal have been for past 7 years!

DEAR Tottenham fans, after our false start to the season and two subsequent heavy losses I ask you: If someone had told you that, with 11 games to go, we’d be four points above our local rivals, seven points above Chelsea and third in the Premier League, would you have believed them?
I wouldn’t have either. Therefore when someone takes the Michael . . . (why do we call it taking the Michael? Why not taking the John or Graham?) Anyway, about our recent form, remember, they’re usually the ones who are looking up!
Manchester United are weathered campaigners, yet Spurs had them worried for long periods of the game on Sunday.
Stunned silence greeted Wayne Rooney’s late first-half goal because, frankly, they didn’t seem to pose a threat.
The next thing you know they have scored three and we lose 3-1.
As we aptly showed last season, records are there to be broken and if Spurs want to be taken seriously we’re going to have to deal with all of the hoodoos that possess our psyche.
We have become victims of our recent success and so we, as fans, quite rightly demand more.
But like I’ve said, under Harry we’re a work in progress, just like Arsenal have been for the last seven years and, get this, after all that time, their measure of success this season is whether or not they can overtake us.
Now, if that doesn’t make you feel a little better…
