SPURS FC: The Crow – They've done the dirty on Harry – and Spurs

DID Harry know on Sunday what the world knows now?
Did the players know that Roy Hodgson had got the England job therefore dispatched Blackburn without a whimper?
For me the damage has already been done with rumours of contract talks being halted until a top-four finish is secured, Harry’s credibility with some Spurs fans and apparently the chairman is now in question.
Had he said, “I’m happy at Spurs but if England come calling I’ll have to seriously think about it,” who could have blamed him?
What he said was that nobody from the FA had contacted him.
If that’s the case why is Roy Hodgson’s press conference littered with innuendo about Harry being graceful?
Hoping that now he’s secured the job, that it won’t affect their friendship.
The clincher for me was Hodgson saying, “Harry’s dealing with the situation extremely well.”
These statements make me believe there was a conversation with the FA, distracting both manager and players to the sum of 13 points!
I still want to know how players get distracted with the thousands they earn per week?
The lack of clarity has reminded me of Harry’s dealings with both Portsmouth and Southampton, pledging allegiance to one while leaving for the other.
The nation’s favourite has to go some way to appeasing his own fans.
Only a top-four finish will do.
Even then we’ll need teams in the Premier League and Europe to do us favours.
