SPURS FC: The Crow – Martinez Like A PE Teacher But Is Harry The Headmaster?

INTERESTING times at the moment: Manchester City losing at Everton on Tuesday; Spurs, Manchester United and Liverpool winning, Chelsea just about squeezing a draw with Swansea and Arsenal, well, just being Arsenal.
Wigan are like an exuberant group of schoolkids with manager Roberto Martinez, an enthusiastic PE teacher, taking them out for the day.
Throughout their 3-1 loss to Spurs, he didn’t get angry, apart from when a nasty challenge by Benoit Assou-Ekotto nearly broke one of his player’s legs! Even then he only shook his head. He seems to instill the idea that it’s the taking part that matters.
They never stop running, get very little out of games and he makes sure most of the bench play.
Harry, on the other hand, has assembled a team that has surpassed all expectations albeit not their own.
They look confident, almost casual or nonchalant; and, dare I say, look like they can go through the rest of the season without losing!
However I’m a Tottenham fan and because of our years of underachievement I’m uncertain.
In the past our lack of leadership would end up with us shooting ourselves in the foot.
This game mostly gives you what you deserve though, arguably, our losses this season have been suspect, a fact that few can deny.
It’s a great feeling going to matches expecting to win.
I suppose that’s why it hurts so much when you don’t. Come on you Spurs!
