• AIR pollution is one of the biggest problems facing London.

Camden Council this week agreed to adopt powers to enforce against engine-idling right across the borough. Deliberate engine-idlers poison the air around them, and themselves. Being inside a car is no protection.

We also want to do a lot more to improve the air around schools. Pollutants can harm children’s lungs at a critical stage in their development. So we would like to work with more schools across the borough to encourage healthier travel and improve the streets outside them.
