We know that the cost of the splendid metal bins in our open spaces is £1,050 each with set-up costs.

A council official visited my home to ask about recycling. The evidence was obvious from my array of bins; what is the cost of such visits? And what is the cost of the “recycling awards scheme”?

If councillors in charge of these arrangements could let us have these figures so that we can compare them with the projected annual savings of the new arrangements then some light could be shone on the issue
