‘Please rethink this mess Camden’

• THE highly unpopular new cycle lanes on Haverstock Hill have led to inevitable, desperate, measures of shopkeepers trying to take deliveries.

While the lanes remain lightly used by cyclists, they are being invaded by delivery lorries and vans parking across or in the lanes (see picture).

There seems to be no interest in Camden Council actively policing these, rather some misguided belief that shopkeepers can stay in business without customers or deliveries.

This shortsighted and impractical initiative will lead to accidents, if not through misuse by delivery drivers then by evasive action by cyclists. Please rethink this mess Camden.
