The coming together of two lonely swans who finally found happiness with each other
• IF you were to read our book, you would understand the story is not about one swan rescuing another, or the degradation of the feminine role or inflation of the male one, (The widow relegated to a supporting role, October 22).
Rather our book portrays the true story of the coming together of two lonely swans who, after a series of unfortunate events, finally found happiness with each other.
And how privileged we are to have had this charming story unfold right on our beautiful Heath.
Dee McLean and I have been blown away by heart-warming feedback from locals, and our book is selling so fast that we are considering a second print run.
After only two weeks we have nearly reached our goal of raising enough funds for a new kayak for the local swan rescue team, and we have even received several three-figure donations.
We have also posted copies of our book as far as the USA and Canada, and last week I even sent a copy to Kensington Palace.
Clearly there is something about Wallace which people love.
