• BRAVO to Roger Evans (Toilet closure out of order, June 1) for bringing to your attention the closure of the Sainsbury’s store toilets in Camden Town.

I have been enquiring all year at the customer service desk as to when they would be repaired and reopened. I was recently told that it was probably never, as the manager did not want them again as they attracted the wrong sort of people to use them!

A great shame especially for the many shoppers who have a need for them. You will still find well-maintained customer toilets open at Sainsbury’s Swiss Cottage or Morrisons Chalk Farm. I know where I will be shopping in future.
