SOLAR panels are to be installed on the visitor centre in Waterlow Park, with the energy possibly used to charge electric cars. Paperwork submitted to the Town Hall said the scheme had the potential “to cover night-time electricity use, including the charging of electric vehicles to tackle pollution and clean up the air in the park.”
