RAPIDLY rising Reddot Academy are going from strength to strength after snapping up two important supporters just weeks into the new season.

The newly-formed youth club, which plays in the Camden and Regent’s Park Youth League, have put together Under-7s, Under-9s and Under-11s sides since forming in the summer. Founder Micky Dowsett is ready to welcome more new players at his training sessions, which take place at Camden Rhino turf in Castlehaven Road every Saturday between 1pm and 4pm.

Paul Perkins from The Winch in Swiss Cottage said he’s “excited” by what’s happening at the club.

“We’ve partnered with Micky to make Reddot a social enterprise, which will provide young people with training and employment to become sports coaches,” he said.

“Micky is a perfect role model, and he will give children a really excellent footballing education.

“In time, we expect Reddot Academy to be a self-sustaining venture that trains young people and helps them grow as individuals through football.”

Reddot have also won a fan in the shape of Chamomile Café in England’s Lane, Belsize Park. “Chamomile is really excited to be supporting Reddot Academy, we are looking forward to seeing them go from strength to strength,” said manager Jai Pond, who has just sponsored their new kit.
