• ANOTHER week, another tiresome letter from Mick Farrant.

Why do you persist in printing his letters week after week which virtually all say the same thing, viz that Camden Council is useless, they waste money on consultations that are ignored and apparently arrange secret cabals from which he is shut out. If they are secret how does he know about them?

I have previously suggested the obvious solution which he chose to ignore – stand as a Gospel Oak councillor, although with the present Labour regime he wouldn’t stand a chance of being selected so why not stand as an independent?

With his obvious local knowledge he should receive wide support from the (according to him) frustrated residents and wasteful consultations which are not acted on.

He could then stir up as much trouble as he liked and have access to officialdom at the town hall and ask lots of awkward questions in the public domain to be reported in the CNJ!

It might even provoke the local Labour councillors to action. And if things are so bad why is it that no one else from Gospel Oak writes to complain?

I look forward to that rather than reading his bloody letters every week all saying the same thing.
