An obvious solution, move to a gay-friendly church. HTB (Holy Trinity Brompton), I believe professes a conservative, crackpot theology.

Freud said the Bible was written by men with daddy issues. For sure, holy scriptures are human constructs with no evidence of being divinely-inspired. In fact there’s no credible evidence that God exists.

To play devil’s advocate (if that’s the correct phrase): if God does exist, how likely is it that an entity capable of creating and sustaining a multiverse would exhibit a prurient preoccupation with Earthlings’ naughty bits?

It’s not implausible that there could be some kind of superintending cosmic intelligence; but if such exists it would probably be the result of evolved interstellar sentience.

Humanity may be invited to participate after a short spell of further species development – say, five million years into the future.
