FOUR primaries can officially say that they have the best basketballers in the borough after winning silverware in the latest tournament to be held by the Camden Schools Sports Association.
Held at the Talacre Sports Centre in Kentish Town, 12 primary schools entered teams into the much-loved competition.
And after a day of slam-dunking action, the girls’ teams from St Aloysius School in Somers Town and Gospel Oak School were the ones celebrating after winning their respective cup and plate competitions.
In the boys’ tournament, Primrose Hill School were the proud winners of the CSSA Cup, while St Albans won the plate.
The event was supported by members of the Camden Sport and Physical Activity Team, and volunteers from their NVQ programme.
