AROUND 60 firefighters were in action in West Hampstead last night (Wednesday) as they fought a blaze for more than two hours on the Rowley Way Estate.
Emergency teams from stations at West Hampstead, Kentish Town, Paddington, and North Kensington were at the scene to stop the fire spreading from a two-storey maisonette. The London Fire Brigade said “the whole of the property” had been damaged but that nobody was inside at the time.
Investigators are now trying to establish the cause of the fire.
