MOST Arsenal fans knew nothing about Serge Gnabry who – out of the blue – started against Stoke on Sunday at the Emirates.

The German winger was a last-minute replacement for Theo Walcott who’s been sidelined for three weeks with an abdominal injury.

Gnabry stepped out of the shadows in some style as he more than held his own in the 3-1 victory over Stoke.

The 18-year-old did even better just days earlier when he scored twice (pictured, above) to help Arsenal’s Under-19s beat Marseille in the UEFA Youth League. Alex Iwobi and Jack Jebb were also on target in the 4-1 victory last Wednesday.

On Wednesday, October 2, fans will get the chance to see more of the rising young stars at Arsenal in action for free at Boreham Wood FC.

They will take on Italian side Napoli in a 7pm kick-off.
