IT looks like there’s only one thing that can stop Regent’s Park FC from finding the back of the net in the Islington Midweek League… the weather!
Just before the snow hit Market Road the Premier League side managed to squeeze in one last game as they beat Division One opponents
K-Mile in the Ken Doherty Memorial Cup.
Jason Perdicou and Charlie Kinaris both bagged a brace, while Paul Butler, Alfie Rogers and Glen McSherry were also all in target in a 7-2 victory.
Manager Des Casey, who runs the side alongside Perry Joyce, said his players simply just love to score. “Every single one of our players knows how to find the back of the net. When you add our top scorer, Alfie, who recently scored eight goals in a game against Tornados, and it’s fair to say that rival defences know that they have a job on their hands keeping us quiet.”
