Service charges here are too high

Thursday, 13th January 2022

• I AM a resident at Charlie Ratchford Court, the extra care home that Camden recently opened.

The service charges disabled residents like me have to pay are very high and leave us with hardly any money to do things outside. There are not many activities and outings and it feels like a ghost town.

The service charges for extras such as meals and extra support are mandatory, which I think is unfair. They should be optional. I have the feeling that CRC opened before it was really ready.
