SAY cheese!

Children at St Patrick’s School were all smiles last Thursday when a pizza oven was gifted to them from Murphy’s construction company.

Headteacher Diana Savva-Brown said they have “loads of ideas” to engage their students through the pizza kiln; from cooking lessons to summer fairs and raising money at parent-teacher association evenings.

“It’s a small thing but it’s an important symbol,” said parent Brigid O’Brien. “ There are a lot of corporations out there who are willing to help. Kids are raised by communities, not just their families.”
