YOUNGSTERS from Torriano Junior School (above) and Primrose Hill will go head-to-head in the final of the Hockey Championships for the right to represent their borough at the School Games in spring.

Owing to popular demand, the tournament this year was split into two events to cater for the 11 schools that took part at the Talacre Community Sports Centre in Kentish Town.

Primrose Hill School brushed aside the competition to win their league for the third year in a row, while the triumphant team from Torriano narrowly defeated Kilburn’s St Eugene De Mazenod to win their league.

The event was run by the Camden Sport and Physical Activity team with volunteer NVQ’s currently enrolled on Camden Sport Development’s Level 1 and 2 Certificates in Activity Leadership.
