How a city e-scooter hire looks in the United States 

• CAMDEN are consulting on a proposal for borough to take part in the Transport for London electric scooter hire trial and to gather views and feedback on the way in which they would manage the trial if it went ahead.

There are 13 questions and not one of then asks if respondents are in favour of taking part in the trial or not.

So clearly Camden have already decided to join the trial and this so-called consultation is nothing but a sham.

My observation of 365 illegal scooters on the roads in the Holborn area shows that 180 were on the footway, which is around a half.

I urge people to complete the questionnaire and, in the answer box for question 13, say that you strongly object to Camden taking part in the trial. It closes on July 12.
