Save us from this pavement rubbish

Litter-strewn Fortune Green Road
• THE October 1 letter from Mick Farrant (Council officers reports economical with the truth), concerning the unemptied litter bins of Gospel Oak, left me wishing for the same, in West Hampstead – at least it would be an improvement on the litter-strewn Fortune Green Road.
I have written over 20 emails to our councillor, Richard Olszewski, concerning a couple of businesses which continuously put out their rubbish and unwanted furniture, on the pavement, to sit there, for days on end, and over the weekends.
Indeed I have reported this on Camden Council’s website. But nothing seems to have been done, at all.
At a time when money is being sought for laptops, for digitally-excluded school children, maybe we should use Cllr Olszewski’s allowance, which seems not to be justified given his inactivity.
