PLAYERS from Sapo Verde couldn’t hide their delight on Saturday after they conquered all-comers to be crowned cup kings in the Camden and Islington Youth League. 

The Under-10s side showed tremendous team spirit and resilience as they beat Fusion 2-1 to capture the highly-sought-after Development Cup. 

General League Secretary Karen Greene said: “I would like to thank all the coaches, parents and guardians who come to Market Road, week in week out, to support their teams.  

“The new pitches are great for the youngsters to develop their football skills.”
