FOUR new Saints were introduced to the fight scene on Thursday when St Pancras ABC held their ever-popular dinner show at the London Irish Centre in Camden Town.

More than 350 fight fans saw Liam Page, Billy Doran, Lulzim Billa and Jan Vyhnalak all step between the ropes for the very first time in a night of top-notch boxing that head coach CJ Hussein described as the clubs “best show yet”.

Liam (below left, second from the right) stole the show as he won the Fighter-of-the-Night Award after gaining a unanimous win in his three two-minute round contest, while Billy was also singled out for praise after winning what CJ described as “an emotional debut”.

Although they were outscored on the night, Lulzim and Jan also did well in their first outings for the club, which is based in Talacre Road, Kentish Town.

“It was a tremendous team effort, not just from the boys who stepped into the ring, but all the coaches, supporters and sponsors of the club as well,” said CJ.

“We shifted over 350 tickets and could have sold even more if we had had the space.

“I want to thank everyone who helped make the show one of best yet.”
