HIGH-FLYING Heath Cougars were happy to celebrate after they finished their Camden and Islington Youth League season as champions with games to spare.

The Cougars, who are coached by Luciano Bagarone, finished the season 15 points ahead of their nearest rivals in the Under 10 Division B.
Head coach Stephen O’Brennan praised Bagarone for “working wonders” with their young side, who lost just one game all season.

“I always had belief in this group of players that when they got their opportunity to play at Market Road on such a huge space, that their ability to keep possession and open up their opponents would finally be shown and it certainly has,” he said.

“I was confident in handing the over to such an experienced coach and he has worked wonders with them.”
