ARSENAL Ladies continued their ferocious form in front of goal last night (Wednesday) when they smashed six goals past Doncaster Rovers Belles in the Women’s Super League.
In-form striker Danielle Carter struck twice, while Gilly Flaherty, Jordan Nobbs, Ellen White and Steph Houghton also all found the back of the net at the Keepmoat Stadium.
The result makes it six wins on the spin in the league for Shelley Kerr’s side, who netted a 3-1 win away at Birmingham on Sunday.
Houghton headed home the opener at Knights Lane when she latched on to Kim Little’s corner, before White added a second.
Gemma Davison volleyed home the third as the Gunners wrapped up the win before the half-time interval.
The result would have been especially frustrating for Birmingham winger Karen Carney, who scored 28 goals in 54 appearances for Arsenal.
