Labour councillor Roger Robinson

• OUR constituency party would like to celebrate the achievements of Cllr Roger Robinson and acknowledge his immense contribution to improving people’s lives through his 57 years of public service, (It’s Roger Robinson… the alderman! December 2).

Roger is a beloved member and councillor of St Pancras and Somers Town ward. He is a fierce champion of his constituents and Labour Party values.

Among his vast portfolio, Roger has been a long-term supporter of the Somers Town History Museum and he recently attended its opening. His determination to reduce inequalities in our society led him to create and chair Camden’s Disability Oversight Committee.

We are sad that Roger will be retiring from public life, but we know that he will continue to stand up against injustice and continue his work to improve people’s lives.

We are excited to see what the next chapter holds for Roger and the vital role he will continue to play in our local Labour Party.

Roger, congratulations on being awarded a truly well-deserved aldermanship. We sincerely thank you for your commitment and hard work over the years, and we wish you all the best.

Chair, Holborn & St Pancras CLP
