Labour councillor Roger Robinson

• AFTER serving our ward, St Pancras and Somers Town, since 1998 we are sad that Cllr Roger Robinson will not be standing for re-election in May.

Many of our local Labour Party members, Roger’s constituents, and the wider community, will know that Roger has been a passionate public servant for most of his life and dedicated his efforts to improving people’s lives.

We are proud of Roger’s work to represent his constituents and the public interest through his work on various Camden Council committees and as chair of Camden’s Disability Oversight Committee.

Whether it is housing cases, benefits issues, or the difficulties many families faced during the lockdowns, Roger is always there for local residents.

Roger is not only our councillor but also a dear friend. We know that he will continue to champion Labour Party values and play an active role in our local Labour Party.

On behalf of St Pancras and Somers Town Branch Labour Party, I would like to thank Roger for always standing up for our communities and being a true inspiration to so many.

Roger, congratulations on your aldermanship and we wish you all the best for the future.

JENNIFER HUGH
Secretary, St Pancras & Somers Town Branch Labour Party
