Residents should have been told about Thames Water works’ disruption
Friday, 18th October 2019
• WE, the Pinner Six, are a Somers Town disabled group and it has come to our attention that Eversholt Street is to be closed from October 14 until November 4 by Thames Water.
Then, after that, HS2 will start their works – with little information to residents. This will be a great inconvenience for the elderly and disabled people of Somers Town.
Thames Water have not sent letters out to residents. So Monday morning people would have been going to the bus stop to go for doctors or hospital appointments and no buses.
We have also heard that our water supply might be disrupted and again no communication. Transport for London and Camden Council were aware of this. So why not residents – or don’t we matter to them?
