Remembering Sidney Charles Clarke
Thursday, 21st September 2017
• ON the 20th anniversary of Princess Diana’s death, I have seen lots of coverage of the event in the media.
All who took part did a great job on that sad day of the funeral. One person that I have not heard about was the hearse driver on the day, a Mr Sidney Charles Clarke, who passed away on March 12 2013.
Sidney was a Camden man living and working in the borough. I feel that Sidney did a great service that day, under very testing circumstances, and should be remembered by people who knew him and residents of Camden and royalists.
