• IT was very noticeable in your edition published on St Patrick’s Day, March 17, that St Patrick’s Day and any celebration of it appeared to have been cancelled, or was non-existent in Camden this year.

As an otherwise very fine local newspaper, perhaps you could have at least notified the large local Irish community of this.

Earlier in the same week Sir Keir Starmer, local MP and leader of the Opposition had visited the London Irish Centre in Camden Square with the Irish ambassador.
